FOOD & EVERYDAY LIFE / THREE MOMENTS

The ordinary parts count.

A plate, a kitchen counter, a cup outside. Small scenes with room for a changing routine.

An archive built only around trips and milestones would miss a lot of the person. These entries stay with the daily details: what was on the plate, which jars were on the counter, and a cup photographed at night. The captions record a personal routine at a particular time. They are not instructions for what somebody else should eat or drink.

Selected dated entries with new editorial connections. This path is arranged by meaning, not as a complete chronology.

Leave the imperfect part in.

The September 2025 food entry includes a qualification about not eating perfectly. Keep that line beside the photograph. It makes the record more specific and less like a standard somebody else has to meet.

A day, divided into three blends.

The January 2026 entry describes blends for morning, evening and night. The jars and press give the routine a physical setting. This is a dated account of what Alex posted, not evidence of a health outcome.

The cup becomes its own scene.

In February, the caption describes being about six months into the tea ritual. The image moves out of the kitchen: steam above a clear mug, a red surface, the dark around it. A repeated habit can leave very different pictures.

TAKE THIS WITH YOU

The everyday record can hold enthusiasm and inconsistency at the same time. Neither needs to be edited out to make the other believable.
