FOOD / AN EVERYDAY RECORD

What is on
the table.

A food diary, not a performance of perfect eating.

Keep the ordinary meals.

Salmon, eggs, spinach and avocado. Fruit in a blender. A fridge stocked with care. These are the details I kept posting, and I want them to have a home of their own here. Diet connects to how I think about my day, but a photograph of one plate is not a complete account of everything I eat.

In a September 2025 entry I wrote, “keep in mind I don’t eat perfect at all.” That line belongs next to the pictures. I want this to be useful and recognizable, including the imperfect parts, rather than a set of food rules other people feel they have to earn their way into.

The ritual around the food.

The herbal teas have their own rhythm: morning, midday and night. The archive documents that rhythm more clearly than it establishes exact recipes or benefits. For now, I am keeping the cups and the context together, rather than guessing quantities from a jar or a photograph.
