FIELD NOTES

A reason to move.

Walks, play, practice and my interest in fascia work, without turning every movement into a medical claim.

Movement has more than one shape.

Snowboarding is the obvious one in the photographs. There is also golf, a court, flips on a lawn and the ordinary idea of going for a walk. I like having more than one reason to leave the desk. The activities do not all need the same goal to belong in the same life.

Practice can stay playful.

The indoor snowboard attempts and the early golf edit show repetition. That is a different kind of record from a single polished photograph. There is value in keeping the attempts visible, because they make the finished moment feel possible rather than effortless.

Where fascia work fits.

Fascia work is one of the interests I want to document here. I have not turned it into a step-by-step treatment protocol. Before presenting a technique as instruction, I want to be clear about the movement, its purpose, the source of the advice and its limits.

This section is a personal movement diary. It does not claim that a release technique changes hormones, cures pain or replaces assessment of an injury.

Keep following the thread.
